    JOB TITLE: PAYROLL PROCESSOR

    DEPARTMENT: PAYROLL

    FLSA STATUS: FULL TIME, NON-EXEMPT

    REPORTS TO: CLIENT SUPPORT MANAGER

    Position Summary: A highly organized professional who builds strong client relationships, establishes clear lines of communication with clients, leadership team and colleagues, is detailed oriented and can meet absolute deadlines. Responsible for the timely processing of designated client payroll and preparation of paychecks.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accurate and timely process payroll for designated clients
    • Process time sheets, validate payroll results, balance outbound files and generate reports
    • Process payroll by data entry, excel file import and other digital methods
    • Prepare off-cycle payrolls and manual checks as needed
    • Promptly respond to client inquiries regarding payroll, answer and resolve any and all questions and concerns that arise and if need be escalate questions to the leadership
    • Perform excel import of client information into Prism/HRP including new hires, terms and changes
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Ability to prioritize and organize responsibilities to meet deadlines
    • Ability to rapidly switch between projects and tasks, managing interruptions without compromising accuracy or quality
    • Attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills both email and phone
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team or individually
    • Excellent customer service skills

    Qualifications:

    • 6 months payroll processing experience preferred
    • PEO and/or Multi-state payroll experience preferred
    • Intermediate to strong skills in excel
    • Proficient with MS Office suite
    • Ability to type 35 WPM
