    Position Summary

They are currently on the lookout for an innovative, seasoned HR Generalist to guide their human resources efforts and performance-based initiatives.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Design and implement an accurate assessment of employee performance, with metrics and a review protocol, in order to develop the right skills and grow the team more effectively.
    • Upgrade and simplify the payroll and HR functions to streamline for managers and deliver a consistent user-friendly process.
    • Responsible for the administration of employee life cycle services including E-Verify, employment screenings, I-9 Support, labor law poster compliance, new hire reporting, verifications of employment, and other products and services as needed.
    • Provide excellent and informed customer service to both internal and external clients. Advise both internal and external clients on laws and regulations and offer guidance, as necessary.
    • Work as an individual contributor to a team, using a standard set of operational processes and procedures to assist internal team and clients.
    • Ensures timely entry of sensitive information to meet both legal and procedural deadlines.
    • Collaborate with current team members and new Division Partners across all locations on initiatives to improve the delivery of HR services and enhance both client experience and operational efficiencies.
    • Work with 3rd party vendors for exceptional delivery of services.
    • Process inbound mail, email, cases, and inquiries.
    • Helps in the preparation of department related AP/AR items.
    • Organize and maintain filing systems. Create and update various tracking systems to provide increased organization and insight.
    • May have ownership of a process or a portion of a process and will be expected to monitor functionality and success.
    • Acts as a mentor and resource to new and acclimating team members.
    • Benefits management including enrolling, reconciling monthly billing, open enrollment and termination of benefits, weekly claims reporting.
    • Working with 401(k) and ESOP TPA involved with annual census, enrollment, annual auditing process.
    • All payroll functions including Time and Attendance, payroll posting, reconciliation, submitting payroll tax to state and federal government, uploading and processing of payroll in 401k plan.
    • Preparing and submitting quarter and annual reporting to IRS, OSHA and other federal and state regulators. Documents include quarterly 941, state UI reporting, annual 940 and other UI reporting, OSHA.
    • Workers Compensation monthly and quarterly wage reporting, First Injury Reporting to state Work Comp divisions, annual Work Comp renewal process.

    Education & Experience

    • 3-5 years of HR experience, ideally with a background in performance management tools and process.
