Position Summary

API Integrator is responsible for developing and maintaining various system integrations which include application-to-application integrations, services, and internal and external APIs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
• Integrate with 3rd party API services where needed.
• Verify and deploy programs and systems.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilitie s

• Knowledge of relevant internet protocols (i.e. TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, etc)
• Strong understanding of data structures and mapping techniques between disparate systems.
• Knowledge of technical writing principles and practices.
• Knowledge of API's (REST) and the ability to understand JSON/ XML files.

Education & Experience

• Associates degree preferred not required
• Minimum 2 years experience in API integrations or development
• Preferred PEO industry, onboarding, payroll software experience
• API, coding or scripting certification a plus
