Sales Engineer

Our Client has been around for 40 years and is a global industrial company in 24 locations in 16 countries. Their Power Division was recently formed to consolidate the Group’s activities in Electromobility building upon >20 years of battery management systems (BMS), battery packs, power electronics, fully integrated EV powertrains, and connected services.

They are seeking a top-level Technical Sales Professional to help achieve aggressive growth targets and to capitalize on tremendous opportunities in Electromobility. This individual will work to develop Electromobility markets: Rail, Truck, Bus, Off-Highway (agriculture/construction), Municipal and Marine. This person will be the main point of contact in the California market and will report directly to the Business Development Manager.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of prior marketing, sales, and business development experience in battery and/or power electronics industries preferably in on/off-highway, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles
• Extensive contacts and relationships with potential customers and partners within the industry
• Experience negotiating the terms of complex commercial agreements that involve multiple decision-makers
• Open to extensive travel domestically
