You will be responsible for design, development, and implementation of PLC/HMI based control and automation systems for various large-scale customers.

You MUST possess the skills and the track record of managing and implementing industrial projects from design through commissioning using current technology.

FOR EXAMPLE, IF YOU HAVE MANAGED A PROJECT OR A SIMILAR PROJECT AS THIS, YOU WOULD BE A VERY GOOD FIT: 

We are working on a large scale distillery project where this person would be responsible for the automation of the entire process from receiving, to mash, to distilling, to bottling, and the associated utilities and waste streams.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Participate in estimating and proposal phase of major projects including research and analysis based on customer proposals, specifications or other information to assist in pre-project planning.
• DESIGN AUTOMATION SYSTEMS based on partner or customer provided control descriptions, joint-design sessions with partners or customers, analysis of existing operations or other means to develop a functional design.
• Develop well-documented and flexible PLC code in a standard programming language from blank sheet state. YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE EXPERT LEVEL (AT LEAST 8 OUT OF 10 LEVEL) PLC PROGRAMMING SKILLS with an in-depth knowledge of the Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) and Siemens family of products.
• Design and develop HMIs that are professional looking and clean, with a simple and common navigation structure. SKILLS IN EITHER THE ROCKWELL RSVIEW SE PLATFORM OR IGNITION (PREFERABLY 8.0). Knowledge of other automation platforms, including offerings from Wonderware, GE, etc is a bonus.
• Work with other team members, partners or customers as needed to oversee or share design and development responsibilities to deliver successful projects, OFTEN WORKING ON MULTIPLE PROJECTS AT ONE TIME.
• Develop solutions to support testing and commissioning activities as required by customers and partners.
• PROVIDE ON-SITE COMMISSIONING SUPPORT AND CUSTOMER TRAINING AS REQUIRED, including the supervision of other team members and partners.
