Western VA Sales Engineer

Our client has an opening for a high reward sales opportunity in the industrial automation market. This is a great position for someone in engineering that is looking to move into a sales role.

They are a leader in smart industrial automation solutions and sell everything from robotics, PLC’s HMI’s, sensors, and software for factory automation.

We are currently looking for a high-energy, money-motivated sales engineer for the Western part of Virginia.

This is a high growth, remote opportunity.

Base Salary is in the $95K-$110K range with 7% commission and an OTE of $150,000ish.

Must Haves:

• Strong sales skills with the ability to break into new accounts
• This is a 70-30 hunter/farmer role so your ability to hunt new business will be critical to your success in this position
• Experience with engineering or industrial automation is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and social skills. Able to quickly connect with others.
• Ability to motivate yourself and manage your book of business

• Well-spoken and able to discuss technical solutions
• Proven ability to build relationships and sell technical solutions
