Qualifications:

• Education: MD/DO
• Licensure: Active NYS Medical License
• Certification: Board certification in Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, or Critical Care preferred.
• Experience: Ventilator-dependent patient management (required)
• Soft Skills: Crisis decision-making, interdisciplinary leadership

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of ventilator-dependent residents.
• Develop and oversee care plans in collaboration with respiratory therapists and nursing staff.
• Adjust ventilator settings in consultation with pulmonologists.
• Manage acute changes and coordinate hospital transfers as needed.
