    Job Description

    Venture Lynk is a consulting firm located in Los Angeles and our client's are some of the top 25 residential mortgage companies. Our client has a 6 month assignment that has a high potential for becoming permanent. The two previous assignments have turned into permanent positions. The company is seeking a Procurement Specialist to become a part of its Vendor Management team. Each of these two consultants will provide overall support to the business needs of the vendor management group by working with the company's legal group and the Vice President of Vendor Management to review, assist with new and ongoing vendor relationships.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Responsible for working with business unit leaders to construct third party vendor contracts.  Contract templates will be utilized as the base to build these vendor agreements.  Position will also be responsible for properly utilizing the vendor management software to load, catalog and manage the contracts. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work with business unit leaders to establish vendor/supplier utilization objectives
    • Work with business unit leader and vendor to create scope of work, negotiate pricing, and write service agreement using contract template.
    • Manage multiple contracting projects simultaneously
    • Proactively manage internal and external customer expectations.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • THIS IS A PERMANENT REMOTE WORK FROM HOME POSITION
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred and a minimum of five (2) + years’ experience working in a similar field.
    • Paralegal level experience is a plus
    • Experience in the Mortgage industry preferred.
    • Experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
