Job Description
Bring your Relativity System Administrator subject matter expertise to provide Operational Support to the FDA’s eDiscovery team and systems, including program administrative and customer support, case management, direct technical support, network and systems administration support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Take a lead role in operating the FDA instance of Relativity, both for ensuring the operational health of the application and in ensuring that the application is being used to best effect for supporting review
Provides guidance to allow the FDA eDiscovery team and their internal customers to make best use of Relativity by:
Development of best practice models: oversee and monitor team best practices, develop and promote standard protocols for re-occurring services, etc.
Providing consulting services to case teams regarding best practices for the use of legal technology.
Identifies and understands problems or issues through analysis of multiple data sources to draw effective conclusions and chooses the most effective course of action considering the broad business impacts.
Contributes to documentation and deliverables, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), ”how-to” guides, and training
Creates and maintains standard workspace and user roles
Supports the execution of reviews in Relativity by:
Forging collaborative partnerships with diverse teams of project managers and legal professionals to meet critical deadlines.
Assisting users (attorneys, paralegals, project managers, etc.) in the support of instance of Relativity.
Creates workspaces, maintains all instance administrative needs, and assists users with troubleshooting and some workflows.
Providing support eDiscovery technical tasks used throughout the entirety of eDiscovery data lifecycle as well as generalized technical analysis and troubleshooting – for example, understanding how to address issues such as corrupted files, application process slowdowns, etc.
Ensure accuracy of data loading, manipulation, and conversion by performing and documenting quality checks in accordance with specifications
Perform Quality Control of processed data in Relativity Review platform
Creates productions, exports, and other deliverable in industry standard formats
Supports the technical operations of the systems, including:
Coordinating with the Information Technology (IT) team to ensure Relativity systems are working at optimal levels. This includes, but is not limited to, working with the Program Manager to ensure new eDiscovery tools meet established security policies, participating in the system implementation, upgrades, and patches of eDiscovery tools, and collaborating with network administrators to troubleshoot technical issues.
Assessing the technical impact of, and contributing to the planning and execution of upgrades
Completing smoke testing after designated events (outages, patching, upgrades, etc.)
