    SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

    Under the supervision of the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for planning, creating, editing and publishing written content through multiple marketing and communications channels. Regularly produce copy and content related to branding, ads, direct communications (email, newsletters etc.), presentations, and other social and creative outlets (blogs etc.).

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    · Concept development through execution of digital marketing materials including web, advertising, email marketing, social media etc.

    · Create quality content rich in SEO relevancy

    · Maintain and update company and brand messaging and positioning standards

    · Actively collaborate with design, SEO, and other functional experts to produce high quality assets, and user experience

    · Review and edit technical, compliance, and training related documentation

    · Develop and manage project plans by conducting product and campaign related discovery sessions, project kick off meetings and status update reports

    · Establish communication and content related goals and KPI's for marketing and sales related activities

    · Research industry relevant content and communications best practices and trends and share with team members

    · Collaborate with 3rd party agencies, affiliates or partners for Public Relations related projects/campaigns to enhance Veracity's marketing presence and reputation

    · Excellent communication – demonstrated ability in written and oral form to communicate ideas effectively. A strong propensity for telling a persuasive and engaging story and value proposition

    · Media outlets and marketing channels - knowledge of and relationship building ability with local/regional/national and other relevant media outlets

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

    This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a laptop, desktop, smartphone, photocopiers, shredders, and filing cabinets. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The employee is required to type, file and lift office supplies up to 20 pounds.

    POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

    This position offers a flex start schedule. The regular start time of the shift is between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., Monday – Friday. Employee must work 30 hours per week to maintain full time employment status. Occasional overtime is required.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    1. High School Diploma or GED

    2. 2+ years of Marketing experience

    3. Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or business is required.

    SALARY RANGE

    $36K + Depending on experience
