    Hybrid position. Must live in the Indianapolis area.

    Pay: $24.53/hour

    In this role you will:

    • Coordinate the planning and outreach activities to support the requirements of the federal grant.

    • Coordinate a calendar of outreach activities, including community events, workshops, appearances and other communication opportunities.

    • Schedule outreach presentations and exhibitions in the community and communicate with team regarding coverage and responsibilities.

    • Provide leadership and direction to external subgrantees receiving funds, as assigned.

    • Oversee external subgrantees and approve and verify all project deliverables, project phases and milestones.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for external grantees and any issues that arise during project planning and implementation.

    • Nurture new and old relationships with collaborative partners.

    • Capture data on relationships that can be used for public health efforts.

    • Collaborate and consult with community stakeholders (e.g. local health departments, treatment providers, law enforcement, other emergency and public service agencies, business partners, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare organizations) on the issues of drug overdose prevention and overdose response activities.

    • Provide technical assistance to internal and external partners, including state agencies, county coalitions, and advisory groups.

    • Actively participate in initiatives related to substance use disorder and fatal/non-fatal overdoses.

    • Represent the team on task forces and committees related to drug overdose prevention.

    • Correspond via email and phone calls.

    • Assist with grant research, writing and reviewing.

    Requirements:

    • Experience in drug overdose prevention, treatment activities or community organization
    • Prior experience in leadership or management role
    • Demonstrated knowledge in overdose prevention, substance use disorders, substance use disorder treatment, harm reduction, recovery, and/or drug policy
    • Experience in the writing of formal reports and articles and oral presentations
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Teams, and Zoom
