    Job Description

    The Business Development Strategist will work directly with the Sr. Manager, Business Development to manage and build key accounts, generate new business, and close contracts that ensure client satisfaction. In addition, you will be the go-to resource for the needs of our partners when they're leveraging our software, reselling our products, or sending direct mail campaigns.

    KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Sales: Handle all in-bound and out-bound sales calls, and electronic communication to new and existing clients in order to assist them in achieving their business strategies. Lead sales and process conversations with clients regarding API integrations, reseller programs, and our Advanced Marketing Platform. 

    • Marketing Optimization: Provide analysis of client’s marketing programs to deliver results; Promote best practices with our products and services to deliver the partner’s business outcomes. Work directly with clients on best practices and audiences to target. 

    • Product Marketing: Work with sales, marketing, and product to develop support materials that help our partners understand our solutions and extract more value from them.

    EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor's Degree (Required)

    • In lieu of the above education requirements, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

    EXPERIENCE

    • 5 - 7 years Managing strategic relationships and key accounts or customer success work at a software focused on marketing services.   (Required)

    • Experience using Salesforce, Intercom, or similar CRM systems along with all Google Suite and Microsoft Office products. Wordpress, HTML

    • Strong subject matter experience in direct mail, digital marketing, or software as a service products.

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    • Proven track record in delivering great value to your customers while increasing their customer lifetime value.

    • Advanced MS PowerPoint and/or Keynote presentation skills required.

    • Take full ownership and accountability over partnerships, projects, and outcomes.

    • Very strong written communication and storytelling skills

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
