    Job Description

    An Engineer is a problem solver who analyzes models/designs creates modifies and supports a set of complex systems processes or operations that enable business capabilities.

    KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency and security of current networks 5%
    • Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, firewalls, load balancers, wireless, switches. 20%
    • Arranging scheduled upgrades and Investigating faults in the network 10%
    • Planning and execution of LAN, WAN, Wireless, Network Security/VPN and backbone maintenance 10%
    • Maintain Disaster Recovery documentation 5%
    • Manage assigned work queue for customer needs and assist customers with planning their future needs. 20%
    • Participate in Network project Plan for capacity, replacement and for new Service offerings. 25%
    • Other duties as assigned 5%

    This position requires on call and after-hours support for maintenance and Service Down scenarios.

    EDUCATION

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

    EXPERIENCE

    • 3+ Years with Bachelor’s degree or 9+ years’ work experience
    • Average ability to use a computer
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equal experience
    • 3+ years working with Lan/Wan routing and switching in large enterprise environment, Cisco
    • 3+ years working with Cisco IPS/IDS and Firewalls, FMC Mgmt, FTDs, ASAs
    • 3+ years working with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP advanced routing protocols in large enterprise environment
    • 3+ years’ experience with Lan-Lan tunneling, Cisco and Fortinet
    • 3+ years’ experience with Client Based AnyConnect
    • 3+ years’ experience in Gigabit Ethernet and Fiber Channel, Cisco Routers/Switches
    • 2-4 years’ experience with SDWAN, Fortinet Firewalls
    • 2-4 years’ experience with Load-Balancing, F5 Load Balancers
    • 2-4 years’ experience with Cisco ISE
    • 2-4 years’ experience with Cisco Meraki Wireless

    COMMUNICATION AND CONTACTS

    • Communicates directly with internal and external customers.

    OTHER

    • Security Sensitive Position. Supervisory Responsibilities: Considered a team lead over the junior level Analysts and Engineers.

    Additional Information

    Salary: $100,000 - $120,000

    The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities
