This position will be a multi-skilled production employee, but their primary skill will be working in the warehouse. So this position will require the candidate to be familiar with electric pallet jacks, cherry picker and/or forklift. They will also have to drive our rental box truck back and forth between the plant and our off-site warehouse.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Writes receiving reports for all merchandise that comes into the building.
• Writes daily issue reports.
• Delivers all merchandise to the intended recipient.
• Delivers supplies and packages to employees as needed.
• Pulls and moves stock to workstations. Keeps inventory of stock pulled.
• Rotates inventory.
• Moves boxes to and from shelves.
• Unloads pallets.
• Loads and unloads trucks as needed.
• Requires the use of material handling equipment (i.e. pallet jacks, forklift, etc.) including moving stock to and from the off-site warehouse via the rental truck.
• Requires valid driver’s license.
• Maintains the order and cleanliness of the warehouse, including shredding daily and disposing of trash as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally; lifting up to 50lbs. occasionally and up to 20 lbs. frequently. Strength and manual dexterity needed to move objects, must be able to stand for 8-10 hour shift. Must be able to operate a manual or electric pallet jack(s) and/or forklift/cherry picker. Operates the rental truck. Motor vehicle check will be required. Steel-toed boots/shoes are required.

Must be able to work flexible schedule which could include weekend hours. Ability to work overtime.

• Share equipment knowledge with team members.
• Participate in the Team Business Meetings.

Basic Team Member Functions:

Responsible for completing job assignments, planning and scheduling work, making production and/or service-related decisions, and taking action on problems. Jointly responsible for whole work processes, performing multiple tasks, setting staffing plans and production goals for the current day with other team members. Provides information to other team members during shift overlap to improve overall plant performance.
