    ABOUT VERIDIAN

    ABOUT THE SUPPLY CHAIN SYSTEMS INTERNSHIP POSITION

    We are looking for a Supply Chain Systems Intern who will learn the methods and approach of supply chain system implementations for leading retailers and e-commerce companies and internal projects. Your duties will include reviewing functional and technical documentation, issue management and resolution and understanding a company's goals.

    LOCATION

    • Remote; may reside anywhere in the contiguous United States.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Complete tasks and meet deadlines with minimal guidance
    • Ensure the timeliness and quality of team members' deliverables
    • Assist project and resource plans
    • Draft high-level project milestone dates and assumptions/risks
    • Understand a company's functional, technical and process needs as they relate to project risk
    • Learn project conception, design, development, implementation and system hand over

    TRAVEL

    • Travel for this role will vary based on project requirements, typically between 0% and 30%

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Current enrollment in a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management or other relevant area
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Ability to work effectively as an independent, individual contributor with minimal guidance and a strong attention to detail
    • Ability to work collaboratively and lead the efforts of a team
    • Ability to comprehend complex technical documents and translate requirements into actionable tasks

    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Prior Internship or Co-Op experience
