    Job Description

    We strive to deliver useful and accurate reporting data and analytical insights to create People-related strategies and narratives across the business. This role will work to ensure that data and information are available through reporting tools, data visualizations and other mechanisms. You'll connect source systems, develop shared definitions, and create value across multiple stakeholders such as HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and ID&B by enabling and/or providing the data for robust analyses. The prospective candidate will be curious and inquisitive with strong critical thinking and analytical skills.  You must also thrive in managing concurrent projects while fulfilling ad hoc reporting requests and finding creative ways to get the information colleagues need to drive decisions. Our Jersey City location offers a hybrid work model with 2 days/week in-office and the remainder can be remote. Possibility for fully remote for those in other U.S. locations.

    The day to day responsibilities of this role are:

    • To deliver data and information in the simplest format with the highest degree of accuracy to meet user requests.
      • Data can be in the form of reports from multiple systems, for a variety of use cases and for multiple purposes.
      • Fulfillment of requests may require customization of reports with query and report management.
      • Where possible data should be translated to information or provided in aggregate with analytics and clear visuals.
      • Requests from colleagues for information should be carefully vetted and discussed so that responses are provided completely fulfilling the request, without ‘back and forth.’ Anticipation of the next question to enhance understanding is important. Information requests should be managed with consistent protocols, definitions, and clear use cases.
      • Collaborate with HR Leaders and Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to draw conclusions from data analysis which can inform actions and decision-making
      • Prepare reports containing key metrics and definitions, to support the tracking and development of the workforce strategy; including fulfillment of ad-hoc request process
    • To support the delivery of HR Dashboards via the HR Data warehouse:
      • Conduct audits of the file feeds/loads and address any failures
      • Look for ways to improve the data warehouse with table improvements or sql queries.
      • Manage the security and access of all dashboards by auditing users, usage reports and via other means
      • Update dashboards as needed to ensure data is properly represented to meet all HR definitions
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5 or more years of experience in industry and/or similar positions preferred (preferably working in HR analytics, data analytics and visualization, HRIS, and/or Reporting)
    • 2-4 years of experience with relevant skills in one or more of the following applications:
      • Advanced Excel skill, ability to understand SQL coding, and hands on experience with one or more BI platforms / visualization tools (PowerBI, etc.)
      • OTBI and BI Publisher preferred
    • Proven ability to prepare data and, analytics for meaningful application to answering questions raised by the business
    • Ability to translate data from multiple source systems into connected, useful common data platforms to address research questions
    • Experience managing a data warehouse including process, audit, security and other core functions
    • Ability to manage work and productivity with project plans
    • Strong emphasis on customer service delivery and collaborating across business units and functions
    • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective presentation skills
    • Successful track record of superior service delivery and change management in a global environment
