Job Description

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN PRODUCT MANAGEMENT AT AN INSURANCE COMPANY working on large data sets. SQL skills desired.
• Must be highly motivated to be able to work independently.
• Must possess a strong analytic and strong creative aptitude to solve complex business problems.
• Must have experience in developing new products from scratch and successfully launching and managing to maturity.
• Must be able to regularly present to senior management and large client audiences on a business and technical level with a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to travel periodically (e.g. once per month) to Verisk offices, customers, business partners, and industry events.
• THIS POSITION IS 100% REMOTE WITH MONTHLY TRAVEL.

Responsibilities:

• PM will manage property underwriting products, which includes continuous product innovation, data engineering, collaboration with data scientists and other product managers, pricing, creating contract structures, creating training material/presentations, roadmaps, user stories, and revenue forecasting.
• PM will support sales organization build a pipeline of prospective clients through on-site product presentations to senior managers and executives, provide training, create proposals, provide industry insights, be current on competitive information, and help new client testing and onboarding processes.
