    JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Verite Group, Inc. is actively recruiting top tier software engineering talent to join the development team of our EdTech product NetRef. Verite Group, Inc. is both a software product development company and a consultancy.
    • Developers for this position will be active in all phases of software development: design, implementation, testing, and deployment.  In this position, you will work within small teams to develop and deploy NetRef to schools across the country.
    • Successful candidates will be strong engineers who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of delivery. The NetRef development team requires creative engineering balanced with high quality and customer focus. You will have the ability to work in an entrepreneur environment and be able to contribute to a high-energy team.

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:  

    Security Clearance:  Clearable

    • B.A. or B.S in Computer Science or related field
    • Three years prior experience in software development
    • In-depth knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin
    • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL)
    • Strong understanding of user interface design principles and software architecture
    • Experience implementing large scale web applications

    DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:  

    • Knowledge of C# or Swift
    • Experience with Cloud Services (AWS, Google Cloud)
    • Previously employed by an EdTech company
