    THE ROLE

    We are currently seeking a Fund Accountant to join our high performing Accounting team. In this role you will prepare financial statements, maintain supporting schedules and prepare capital account reconciliations for a variety of entity types. Overseeing a portfolio of clients, you will manage key relationships and provide professional service to our clients located across the US.     WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Perform daily accounting tasks, including cash entry and maintenance of supporting schedules and investor records.
    • Prepare and review financial statements for a variety of entity types in accordance with US GAAP.
    • Prepare capital account reconciliations, and complete investor reporting functions on a monthly/quarterly basis.
    • Cultivate and manage effective relationships with clients.
    • Interface with external audit and tax preparers at year-end.
    • Collaborate with Operations and Client Success teams to streamline process and ensure service excellence.
    • Additional responsibilities as directed for the success of the team and the Company.

    WHAT YOU CAN OFFER

    • BS/BA in Accounting, with 1+ year of accounting experience.
    • Experience in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Excel a plus.
    • Knowledge of real estate and the real estate investment space would be highly regarded - but we can teach you!
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Outstanding communication skills over the phone and via email.
    • Curiosity, with a desire to master new ideas and skills.
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong proficiency using a variety of technology systems and the ability to learn new ones quickly.
