VHFLC IS CURRENTLY HIRING FOR 2 POSITIONS AT OUR RALEIGH HILLS CENTER THAT PROVIDES BOTH EARLY CHILDHOOD AND SCHOOL AGE AFTER SCHOOL CARE.
**INFANT ASST. TEACHER: to provide a nurturing and safe environment for infants to develop and reach age-appropriate milestones. The ideal candidate will be a caring individual who enjoys teaching young infants into toddler age, with the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. RESPONSIBILITIES:
All aspects of caring for infants, toddlers or preschoolers.
Classroom management - Provide age-appropriate activities for infants, toddlers or preschoolers in a supportive and caring environment.
Maintain classroom cleanliness and closing duties at the end of the day.
Be enthusiastic and have the ability to get down and engage with children in their activities. QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED; AND
Ability to meet and deal courteously and effectively with other employees, parents, and the public.
Ability to remain calm and use good judgment during confrontational or high-pressure situations that may arise.
Ability to work assigned schedules.
**AFTER SCHOOL TEACHER: to join our After School Program for Portland Public School District for the 2022-2023 SY, at our Raleigh Hills Center.
