Management Intern This multi million dollar granite and marble company,
under new management, is looking for a summer, or longer, intern to dive
into all aspects of the management of the business. You would work
directly with the owner in developing completely new sales, management,
accounting and inventory processes for the business. New management has
overseen businesses all around the world and is looking for someone who
is eager to dive into a real management role right from the start,
performing tasks such as creating a new website, establishing new
accounting systems, and assisting in managing the daily operations of
the sales and production processes. The Intern will be responsible for
assisting with implementing and monitoring new business management
processes and projects within all accounts and aspects of the business
under the direction of the Owner. S/he works closely with and supports
the needs of the account teams. Responsibilities include, but are not
limited to: * Basic understanding of principles of PR * Basic
understanding of clients' business * Participation in brainstorms ideas
- Oversee all aspects of a new webpage and online accounts * Create and
develop new accounting and reporting systems * Familiarity with AP style
About our internship program: * Should be local * Interns are paid
$12.50 an hour and are eligible for overtime * Our interns work a full
or part time schedule (Mon-Fri, 25- 40 hours per week) for up to 6
months, starting as soon as school allows (asap) * No form of housing or

effectively with a variety of account service staff within a specific
set of accounts. S/he must have good organizational skills and the
ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments and deadlines. S/he must
have solid knowledge of MS Office Suite and superior verbal and written
communication skills. The Intern is preferably a business (or
equivalent) major at a local university, someone who likes to take an
active role in any project, is eager to accept new challenges, and is
looking for an immediate opportunity to learn what a real business looks
like.
