Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, and versatile Handyman / Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a self-starter who takes pride in quality workmanship and can handle a wide range of maintenance, repair, and fabrication tasks. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine equipment maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, and general mechanical servicing

Diagnose and repair basic mechanical and equipment issues

Conduct general property maintenance and repairs (interior and exterior)

Complete woodworking tasks such as framing, repairs, trim work, and custom builds

Perform light fabrication and metal work; welding experience is a strong plus

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition

Identify potential issues and proactively recommend solutions

Follow safety procedures and maintain a high standard of workmanship

Communicate clearly regarding project status, materials needed, and timelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or similar role

Strong mechanical skills and experience with equipment maintenance

Solid woodworking and carpentry abilities

General knowledge of tools, materials, and repair techniques

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred / Bonus Skills

Welding experience (MIG, TIG, or stick)

Light electrical or plumbing knowledge

Experience with small engines or heavy equipment

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work with tools for extended periods
