• A/C & Refrigeration Technician
• Must have extensive experience in Refrigeration, Cold Storage + Trade qualification

ON-THE-JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be willing to keep current with industry advancements by continuing education and further developing skills.
• Must participate in related instruction and/or training by vendors as required, e.g., Foxboro, Allen Bradley, General Electric, etc.
• Must lift 50-70 lbs. regularly, e.g., controllers, valves, transmitters, conduit, etc.
• Must do considerable amount of bending, stooping, reaching, turning and twisting.
• Able to climb and work in high places, e.g. up to 150’ elevated bridge cranes, 300’ smoke stacks, etc.
• Occasional work with radiation-type measurement devices.
• Configure and service process controls.
• Set up and operate conduit benders, tubing benders, test equipment, etc.
• Operate programmable controllers, configure and service process controls for required troubleshooting.
• Must work with voltages up to and including 13,800 volts, e.g., high voltage switch gear, etc.
• Able to read and update blueprints, loop sheets, and schematic diagrams.
• Work in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work order tracking, time entry, parts procurement, etc.
• Work independently, be able to prioritize work, and be a self-starter.
• Effectively communicate and work in a team environment.
• Learn and comply with all Company Policies/Procedures
• Must have telephone and live within a reasonable commuting distance of the mill.
• Work shift work, overtime, Sundays and holidays as required.
• Respond to call-ins utilizing cell phone call procedure.
• Work in a team environment
• Must be able to distinguish colors.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products and be able to keyboard/type.
• Pass Bennett Mechanical Test
• Pass Designated Math Test
• Demonstrate the ability to work at heights above 30’, including working off platforms, ladders, cranes, and scaffolds
• Pass written electrical assessment
• Pass hands-on electrical test
