Verso Ministries is bringing a new vision of pilgrimage and global travel to Catholics everywhere. One that integrates the rich experience of faith, history, and culture into a holistic journey. Designed so that both individuals and groups can sign up for our pilgrimages, we make sure that every pilgrim has what they need through the entire process - logistically and spiritually. The result is an encounter with God and people that changes hearts and lives in deep, often unexpected, ways.
Currently, we are seeking a full-time Office Assistant to manage internal operations of the business. Candidate must be available to work onsite Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
YOUR ROLE AT VERSO MINISTRIES
Pilgrimage Operations
· Assist with execution of all pilgrimage operational activities
· Serve as primary registrar for pilgrims and make welcome phone calls to new pilgrim registrations
· Maintain accurate records within PEAK15 and provide operational reports such as rooming lists, flight manifests, guest rosters, etc.
· Process traveler forms after receipt
· Process customer payments and refunds
· Assist with management of travel insurance purchasing and reporting
· Conduct research as needed for current and future pilgrimage destinations
Office Administration
· Serve as primary operator to answer phones and manage Zoom software, performing Zoom training for staff as needed
· Manage employee systems for onboarding, training, and welfare
· Keep inventory of and order supplies for office
· Assist with planning and scheduling staff meetings, internal, and external events
· Organize and maintain office filing system
· Compose emails, memos, and reports for both internal and external communication
· Make travel and accommodation arrangements
· Perform light bookkeeping duties such as entering expenses, preparing and printing checks to be signed, and oversight of petty cash account
· Take minutes during meetings
· Check office P.O. box and ship packages as needed

· Provide critical feedback to continually improve our pilgrimage services
· Assist with improving operational efficiency

· Dependability – Available to work 5 hours a day (Monday-Friday) between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern
BONUS POINTS
· Experience with pilgrimage and/or international travel
· Ministerial training, formation, or experience
· Proficiency in Adobe suite, Quickbooks online, or a CRM
