Interested candidates should have 1+ years of inventory and/or related experience working in a warehouse / manufacturing / food processing environment. Responsibilities of the Inventory Assistant * Assist with the planning and execution of inventory management of an operation. * Work cross functionally with other departments to minimize cost and waste throughout the organization. * Assist with the day-to-day activities of a 15+ member inventory / outbound team * Assist with cycle count, inventory discrepancies, and reconciliation * Handle projects as required Requirements of the Inventory Assistant * Experience within a perishable, food or provisional items area * 1+ years' of inventory and/or related experience working in a warehouse / manufacturing / food processing environment * General knowledge of inventory/warehouse fundamentals * Working knowledge of a Warehouse Management System * Prior work experience in a Food Distribution, Grocery Warehouse / Supermarket or Commissary ideal * Able to stand for long period of times

• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs * Ability to work in climate from 32 to 38 degrees * Knowledge of SAP * Knowledge of departmental production processes, materials and production and sanitation techniques
