    Analyst or Senior Analyst - Transaction Advisory Services

    Our client, a large national top ranking CPA firm is seeking to add dynamic and driven Analysts and Senior Analysts to their Transaction Advisory Services teams in Washington, DC; Dallas, Texas; and Chicago, IL. This particular posting is for Washington, DC; however, please indicate all the Locations you're open to.

    In this role, you will provide due diligence and transaction advisory services to firm's clients to help them understand both the risks and rewards of proposed M&A transactions.     Firm's clients include privately held and publicly traded companies, private equity funds, mezzanine funds, banks, and business development companies. This multifaceted client base allows firm to provide staff with an abundant and variety of opportunities across numerous industries, and a constant flow of challenging and meaningful work.

    • Due diligence for buy side, sell side, carve-out and corporate finance transactions
    • Data gathering, document review and preparation of quality of earnings reports.
    • Research and financial analysis of target companies.
    • Assess cash flows, working capital, key business drivers, potential risks and other potential risks and other potential transaction issues throughout engagements.
    • Direct communication with clients to ensure delivery of exceptional client service.
    • Participate in various marketing and recruiting activities of the firm.
    • Opportunities for career development and to advance within the TAS group.
    • Travel to target or selling companies

     

    Qualifications

    Requirements for Analysts:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
    • Between one (1) to three (3) years of experience in a professional services firm performing audits and related services.
    • A CPA designation preferred, not required.
    • Professional designations or candidacy (CFE, CFA, etc.) and / or an advanced degree and due diligence experience are a plus.
    • Ability to travel

    Requirements for Senior Analysts:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a CPA designation are required.
    • Between four (4) to six (6) years of experience in a mid to large size professional services firm performing audits and related services for a diverse client base and, and at least one year of transaction services / due diligence experience.
    • Professional designations or candidacy (CFE, CFA, etc.) and / or an advanced degree are a plus.
