    Our client is a division of a Global Publicly Traded Green Manufacturing company catering to the Hybrid, EV Automotive industry located in the Inland Empire/Ontario, CA area. They have been awarded 2 Major Contracts and seeking an experienced Operations Manager - 2nd Shift to join their team.

    SUMMARY

    Reporting to the Director of Operations & Engineering, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the successful day-to-day management, administration and reporting of all distribution center business activities including, but not limited to staffing, scheduling, inventory control, business metrics, budgeting, safety, and employee relations.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range goals and objectives.
    • Directs and coordinates activities of department for accurate and on time delivery of product related to all business activities.
    • Implement and maintain planning schedules and staffing.
    • Promotes safety program in production environment to prevent or correct unsafe environmental working conditions.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Directly supervises employees in the Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    QUALIFICATION

    • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or university a plus.
    • 4+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Prior experience working 2nd shift in a components/automotive/electronics manufacturing a huge plus
