    COMMERCIAL PROPERTY MANAGER

    *Bilingual Chinese Mandarin Required (verbal a must, written a plus)

    Our client is a large Food Retail Chain with locations throughout California, Nevada, Texas, Washington State, and New Jersey. They are growing and seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to join their Real Estate team.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    This position will be responsible for managing property operations, legally binding financial transactions and record keeping for company's retail properties. Duties and responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

    • Maintains property rentals by advertising and filling vacancies, negotiating and enforcing leases, and maintaining and securing premises. Establishes rental rate by surveying local rental rates and calculating overhead costs, depreciation, taxes, and profit goals.
    • Responsible for managing daily operations of property related matters, by investigating and resolving tenant/landlord complaints, and initiating corrective actions
    • Enforcing rules of occupancy policies and procedures, enforcing leases and securing tenant premises
    • Investigating and Inspecting properties and identifying necessary maintenance and repairs by contracting for maintenance services and supervising repairs
    • Preparing reports such as tables, charts, short description by collecting data, analyzing and summarizing property management related matters in a timely manner
    • Assisting and coordinating with property management and maintenance related concerns, dealing with tenants and coordinating with the landlord
    • Other Property Management Administrative responsibilities as assigned by Real Estate Management team

    QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
    • 5+ years’ experience in commercial real estate, retail and/or shopping center or property management required
    • CPM or LEED-AP O+M preferred
    • Bilingual English & Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) required
    • Strong working knowledge of MS Suite (Word, Excel)
    • Strong working knowledge of Commercial Property Management
    • Strong working knowledge of Real Estate Accounting
    • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, initiate and prioritize multiple projects
    • SAP knowledge, a plus
    • Travel Required: 80% travel is required including out-of-state/overnight travels
