    Finance Manager

    Job Summary:

    The Finance manager will be a key member of the Finance and Accounting management team. This highly visible position is located in Los Angeles, directly supervising a team of Financial Analysts. 

    The Finance Department measures and tracks KPIs and financial metrics that support decision-making.As Finance Manager, you will provide financial and strategic support to the Firm’s management, practice groups, and collaborate with various departments. The Finance Manager will be responsible for problem solving, implementing changes and executing projects necessary for the on-going growth of the Firm, and the daily management and development of staff.

    Other responsibilities include:

    • Responsible for the preparation and detailed review of the monthly financial reporting schedules, analyzing variances and projecting financial results.
    • Manage the preparation of weekly/monthly KPI reporting. Provide summary highlights and other insights as appropriate.
    • Champion our data warehousing project and serve as a power-user of new analytics and reporting tools.
    • Lead the annual budget process. Responsibilities include collection of department input, interface with departments to provide and or confirm (budget) assumptions, consolidation of all submissions, validation/review of all inputs and preparation of materials for presentation of plan to the Firm’s management.
    • Serve as point of contact in investigating/evaluating ad hoc business questions. Partner with various departments and practice group leads to provide insightful analysis on high-visibility and key profitability drivers.

    Education & Experience:

    • BA/BS in Finance, Economics, or other course of study; MBA or CPA is a plus
    • 4+ years of experience in FP&A and/or Strategic Finance equivalent functions
    • Experience in supervisory positions and leadership management
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
