Logistics/Supply Chain Manager

Our client is a global publicly traded EV/Green Energy Manufacturing company with a large facility located in Lancaster, CA. This role has a flexibility to a Work-at-Home arrangement.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop logistics staff

• Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process and operational improvements

• Create and manage budgets for all commodities including all domestic shipment, international imports, and exports

• Responsible for overall compliance of the product and commodities with custom border protection agency and other related agencies

• Responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics operations such as transportation, and supply chain processes

• Select carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts with carriers

• Responsible for communicating with all internal customers for their transportation needs and develop strategies and approaches for logistic solutions

Qualifications:  

• 5+ years of Logistic/Supply Chain operational experiences, preferably in automotive and green energy manufacturing industry

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or relevant field

• Great attitude to learn and grow

• Exceptional organizational, analytical skills and project management skills

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

• Preferably speaks and writing in Mandarin
