JOB SUMMARY Architects company specific systems and technology expertise across multiple infrastructure and development disciplines. Applies and promotes key principles (e.g. stability, scalability, performance, security, compatibility, re-use), helping ensure a balance between tactical and strategic technology solutions. Considers business problems “end-to-end”: including people, process, and technology, both within and outside the enterprise, as part of any design solution. Promotes use of industry and enterprise technology standards. Monitors emerging technologies for potential application within or across the Corporation. Adheres to design and application development standards, methodology and, framework within Architectural compliance and governance. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
KNOWLEDGE OF TECHNOLOGIES AND PACKAGED PLATFORM/SYSTEMS INCLUDING ORACLE HCM, TALEO, JD EDWARDS, COUPA, MICROSOFT SHAREPOINT ETC.
Experience in Enterprise applications, middle-tier services, database, storage, distributed computing, virtualization and/or application technology.
Reviews and ensures architectural designs are consistent, maintainable, flexible and cost effective and working in solutions design and enterprise architecture delivering IT solutions
Develops the data architecture and governance models for systems of engagement and provides the framework for integrating source systems with the transactional databases or data warehouses.
Have a very good understanding of all technical capabilities of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS (Azure, AWS, GCP) from an extension, integration and reporting perspective and be able to articulate complex technical solutions involving these limited features
Knowledge of the primary Azure services (Virtual Machines, Active Directory, Automation, Monitor)
Provide technical support on projects or troubleshoot system issues across multi-tier web architecture.
Analysis, design, build and implementation of end to end solution delivery
Work closely with IT teams and Enterprise/Solution Architect functions in various parts of the organization to solution as well as identify/resolve integration and workflow issues
Builds relationship with executive leadership, technical teams (applications, infrastructure and others), vendors etc. to understand and solve problems.
Practices and leads solution architecture and applications design in adherence to SW development standards and an enterprise approach.
