Senior Accountant.

Our client is an innovative CPG | Personal Transportation technology company. They are global and sell products in more than 80 countries and regions. The company is in rapid growth mode and looking to add a Senior Accountant.loba

Senior Accountant pays up to $80K DOE (5+ yrs of exp)

Location: Alhambra, CA. Temporarily remote due to COVID-19.

Education: BS in accounting/finance or related field, master/MBA preferred

Responsibilities:

• Administration and overseeing all GL balances and daily transactions
• Prepare monthly journal entries by maintaining records and files
• Manage and monitor monthly closing and reconciling GL accounts across department
• Assist in preparation and analysis of financial statements including internal and external purposes
• Conduct analysis of specific accounts and prepare recommendations for action as appropriate
• Support new ERP system implementation
• Complete special projects and analysis as required
• Assists Controller with development of budgets and forecasts as requested
• Ability to lead process improvements across department
  

Experience requirements:

• 5+ years’ proven experience in corporate accounting, 2+ years at senior level preferred
• 3+ years in consumer products, retail/ecommerce preferred
• 3+ years ERP systems, SAP preferred
• General ledger, month-end closing and financial statements experience is a must
• *Cost accounting experience highly preferred

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
• 5+ years’ experience in corporate accounting
• In-depth understanding of US GAAP.
• Good Knowledge and practice in ERP system and accounting software, SAP experience preferred
• Excellent communication & team skills, Attention to details, Self-motivated
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office
