Talent Acquisition Business Partner [Corporate Recruiter]
Our client is a private held growing Global Consumer Products Manufacturer/Distributor located in the San Gabriel Valley. They are looking to add a driven and enthusiastic Talent Acquisition Business Partner to their tenured Human Resources team.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director of HR, the Talent Acquisition Business Partner [TABP] will help drive the Company’s talent acquisition strategy for the entire organization. The TABP will partner with department hiring managers and leadership team to develop, drive, and manage sourcing/recruiting strategies for various open positions. You will assist in developing and promoting the Company culture internally and externally for a positive onboarding experience. In addition to being the expert in crafting sourcing strategies across various channels including relevant job boards, social media, referrals and more.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Drive the recruiting process by sourcing, reviewing resumes, coordinating screenings and interviews, and assisting in determining the suitability of applicant in various departments for employment.
- Act as a Business Partner to department and hiring managers to better understand each department’s needs and screen incoming applicants quickly and effectively
- Proactively source active and passive candidates through employee referrals, networking, internal databases, and innovative research tactics
- Communicate with candidates professionally and be immediately responsive
- Develop and execute creative recruiting efforts and events; including informational sessions, recruitment mixers and other activities that promote Markwins recruiting and outreach efforts
- Promote the Company's brand, culture, vision and use creativity to attract and market the Company to qualified and strong candidates
- Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process
- Collaborate on onboarding and new hire process pre start date
- Produce detailed reporting for organization and Leadership team around recruiting efforts
- Manage Company Applicant Tracking System [ATS]
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Communications or Business related field with a strong academic record; Master's a plus
- 5+ years of experience with high volume professional degreed requisitions on a direct hire or perm basis
- Recruitment & Staffing Agency experience helpful; Ideally Agency & Corporate experience
- Ability to operate independently with a high sense of urgency
- Experience recruiting in a fast-paced environment
- Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must be able to multi-task and manage a robust/full pipeline with efficiency and constant attention
- Knowledge of an Applicant Tracking System (Cornerstone, Brassring, ADP, etc.)
- Visio and Microsoft Office software
- Strong business partnering, interpersonal skills and strong ability to engage both active and passive candidates
- Strong presentation, listening and communication skills
- Ability to adjust content and tone for different audiences
- Ability to prioritize tasks and projects in an agile environment
- Comfortable making decisions independently and collaboratively
- Excellent research, time management, and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
- Tech Savvy and familiar with a wide variety of sourcing strategies and platforms
- Build relationships and create a positive and meaningful candidate experience
