Finance Manager

Our partner client is a privately held manufacturing company located on the border of Orange County and Inland Empire. They are growing and have created a new role as Finance Manager /FP&A Manager to join their team.

Scope of Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis and modelling to support business decisions and future strategic initiatives across company.
• Develop commercial incentive plans, sales commissions and customer rebates to optimize margin growth.
• Month-End activities including the following reports: global regional financial analytical, operational, sales & margin, product cost analysis and ad-hoc.
• Coordinate various planning cycles (annual planning, quarterly forecasts and monthly outlooks).
• Provide variance analysis of expenses, headcount and capital expenditures (CapEx), manage headcount and other cost drivers while ensuring accuracy.
• Partner with department globally with revenue and expense targets and inspire them to stay on task.
• Develop complex financial models and forecast for the business unit on a monthly basis.
• Analyze budget/forecast variances to actual and review with Finance and Operations, IT management teams.
• Develop and monitor key financial metrics and business drivers relevant to the organization.
• Assist in the development and implementation of BI tools, systems, and processes to support forecasts.
• Ensure that various reporting systems and source data are accurate and reconciled.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business related field.
• CPA, CMA, Masters qualifications are a plus.
• 7+ years of experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of SAP experience required (advanced skill set preferred).
• Advanced Excel Modeling skills. Ability to develop and maintain complex financial models.
• Proven analytical and deductive reasoning skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, with ability to clearly articulate complex ideas.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
