    Our client is a division of a Global Publicly Traded Green Manufacturing company catering to the Hybrid, EV Automotive industry located in the Inland Empire/Ontario, CA area. They have been awarded 2 Major Contracts and seeking an experienced

    3 OPENINGS:

    1. Braze Process Engineer

    • Responsible for the brazing processes in a high volume, fast paced CAB brazing production facility.
    • Develop and standardize processes and parameters; implement new ideas to improve safety, quality, cost and productivity.
    • Prepare brazing analyses and reports
    • Become familiar with industry trends and bring knowledge to rest of corporation.
    • Work with local and international operations teams to standardize equipment, materials, and processes
    • Train manufacturing personnel as necessary on the use and maintenance of braze process equipment and processes; assist in the de-bugging of new equipment and troubleshoot problems with existing equipment; interact with team members to optimize processes and improve work station design.
    • Support new program launches; monitor daily quality and productivity results, and react to problems as they occur.
    • Participate in design reviews; lead problem-solving teams to address manufacturing problems.

             Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
    • Specific studies in metallurgy is a plus
    • Experience in AL brazing is a major plus
    • Must be self-motivated and require little supervision
    • Must be a good communicator

    2. Metallurgical Engineer (Metallurgist)

    • Create microscopic samples and determine metal specifications such as structure and erosion.
    • Perform tests on samples provided as needed and provide support to all inspection and reliability groups.
    • Provide support to all manufacturing department and assist in analyzing various materials.
    • Work with Brazing Process Engineer to reduce defects and increase efficiency
    • Manage metallurgical process, prepare charts and graphs and prepare appropriate reports for all investigations.
    • Work with R&D departments (local and international) to develop new materials for the use of manufacturing heat exchangers
    • Ensure compliance to all environment safety requirements and operating guidelines.

            Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or university; or four to six years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Specific educational experience in metallurgy is a plus
    • Experience with AL alloys is a plus
    • Experience in CAB brazing is a plus

    3. Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer

    • Identify facility design requirements based on activity levels, product dimensional profiles and product flow and transportation methods
    • Specify material handling and storage equipment solutions
    • Some machine set-up and/or repair may be necessary as part of this position.
    • Ability to visualize a process or system from concept to development.
    • Development of DFMEA/PFMEA, “critical to quality” parameters
    • Write/revise internal production procedures and work instructions, as assigned
    • Development of specifications for preventative and detection methods.
    • Plan, develop and facilitate the implementation of processes and procedures required to assemble heat exchangers, cooling module assemblies, and systems to reduce cost, improve quality and scheduling.
    • Process testing and validation
    • Performs other duties as assigned by Management.

             Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with Industrial Automation Systems
    • Experience in the design, optimization & integration of machine vision systems, conveyors, bar code readers, s/w & sensors into efficient & reliable production automation systems.
    • Experience in pneumatics, vacuum, servo, powertrain controls a plus.
    • Proficient in Solidworks a plus.
    • Must be capable of working independently.
    • Knowledge of GD&T, basic Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and electro-mechanical systems.
    • Knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, Process Flow, Control Plan and ISO/TS
    • Strong hands on electrical/mechanical aptitude
    • Ability to use power tools and measuring tools.
