    Sr. Planner, Amazon Account

    Our client is a private held growing Global Consumer Products/Goods [CPG] eCommerce/Retail and Manufacturer/Distributor located in the San Gabriel Valley. They are looking to add a dynamic and entrepreneurial Sr. Planner, Amazon Account to their team. The beauty category is high involvement, high margin, and growing significantly both online and off. This is an exciting time to join a smart, passionate team and a profitable, fast-growing company to help shape its Ecommerce and DTC strategy and impact the development and execution of a major piece of its long-term strategic growth plan.

    Summary:

    The Sr. Planner, Amazon Accounts will coordinate and resolve issues regarding existing and new products. They will also be accountable for achieving prescribed company objectives regarding cost, productivity, inventory turn, and customer service (fill rate and on time delivery).

    • Develop and maintain up-to-date and accurate forecast based on historical data analysis and by incorporating demands from promotional lift and special events
    • Plan weekly requirements and release purchase requisition. Take necessary corrective actions to bring inventory up to safety level
    • Monitor inventory level to achieve service level and inventory turn objectives
    • Work closely with the plant and vendors; serve as the liaison to the Category Team to ensure delivery of business requirements
    • Interface with Marketing, Sales, Distribution, QA, Customer Service, Finance, and Product Development as required to support Supply Chain and Corporate objectives
    • Coordinate introduction/change/deletion of SKUs for the entire supply chain
    • Perform other assigned projects and functions as directed by management
    • Monitor changes made to listings and the effects on their sell through rate
    • Identify Listings with third party sellers and other reasons why POs might have take a hit
    • Monitor advertising campaigns -- their effect on demand planning, their profitability, their conversion rate compared to their ROI
    • Monitor subscribe and save figures ensuring we have enough inventory to fulfill orders
    • Determine seasonality of products based off data
    • Monitor bundle sales and their impact on demand planning
    • Monitor company level overstocks of inventory and develop plan to ensure cash flow is freed
    • Assist with Discounted inventory sell through
    • Monitor sell through ratios, cut rates, OOS and their implications for demand planning
    • Monitor vender lead time on a SKU level determining ways to increase turn
    • Perform other duties as needed and directed by management

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience
      • Formal education within Industry Engineering or Operations Management is a plus
    • Minimum one year of related experience within the consumer goods industry preferred
