    ACCOUNTING MANAGER

    Summary:

    The Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring that all tasks and projects are completed in a manner that best fit the department’s short term and long term goals. This role will also play a key role in the relationship and liaison with sister company and parent company overseas. The Accounting Manager is tasked with the development of policies and procedures regarding inventory management, accounts receivable, audits, and account structures, aimed at improving the overall efficiency and accuracy of the Accounting department.

    Scope of Responsibilities:

      • Perform the Accounting for inventory, including the management and oversight of 3PL provider
      • Perform and manage the entire AR process, including invoicing, customer payments, investigating chargebacks, short payments, etc.
      • Assist with implementation of new ERP system
      • Utilize Mandarin language skills to enhance communication and relationship between the U.S. and China Accounting & Finance teams
      • Assist with external audits, ensuring that all requested financial documents and information are available and delivered to the proper authorities
      • Ensure that all tasks and projects are being completed in a way that meets or exceeds the department’s guidelines for professionalism and turnaround time

    Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Related field
      • Fluent in Mandarin (Speak, Read, and Write) required
      • 5+ years of experience in Accounting, with focus on 2-3 years inventory experience
      • CPA certification preferred
      • Retail & eCommerce experience preferred
      • Multinational company experience preferred
      • Expert in Microsoft Office particularly in Excel, power query experience preferred
      • High attention to detail
      • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
      • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
