    Financial Analyst

    Our client is a division of a Global Publicly Traded Green Manufacturing company catering to the Hybrid, EV Automotive industry located in the Inland Empire/Ontario, CA area.

    Headquartered in Ontario, California and maintains sales and engineering facilities in Michigan, Illinois, and North Carolina.

    Our client  is an ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 certified company manufacturing heat exchanger and fluid cooling components for the automotive, heavy truck, bus and military markets.

    This position will report to the Controller

    Summary
    Financial Analyst is to provide accurate and data-based information on company’s profitability, solvency, stability and liquidity. Financial Analyst will research and analyze financial information to help company make well informed decisions, write reports and monitor financial movements.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    Include the following, other duties may be assigned.

    • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
    • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
    • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
    • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
    • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
    • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
    • Prepare budget by integrating Sales/COGS, CAPEX, headcount and Department spending
    • Assist in other tasks as needed, including tax filing and audit
    • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is mentioned in virtually any financial analyst job description

    Qualifications

    • Accounting/GAAP knowledge
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel)
    • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
    • Excellent Communication skills
    • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills
    • Ability to complete projects timely and accurately critical
    • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
    • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
    • Bilingual in English and Mandarin

    Education and/or Experience

    • 3-5+ years of business finance or other relevant experience
    • BA or BS degree required (Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics)
