Responsible for the overall employee payroll and benefits administration
Process and maintain employee information in HRIS system
Ensure all data/documentations/procedures associated with compensation, payroll, and benefits are in compliance with audit standards, Bank’s laws, and regulations
Employee Payroll and Benefits Implementation
Process employee payroll, benefits, insurance, pension, and savings plans (including payroll transmission and breakdown, general ledger reconciliation, E-time vacation accrual reports, ADP bills, and reimbursement, etc.)
Prepare monthly salary and benefits related reports
Prepare data and information associated with payroll, benefits, and compensation to internal and/or external auditors and regulators if requested
Support the execution of compensation, payroll, and benefits procedures and documentations with legal and regulatory requirements
Update payroll, benefits, compensation and other employee information for the maintenance of human resources information and payroll system
Respond to any inquires in relation to compensation and benefits by employees
Reconcile and process AP bills on a timely matter
Reconcile all HR general ledgers
Perform related duties, as required, for the training and development purposes
Perform all assigned duties under Bank’s compliance programs and related laws & regulations
Successfully complete all mandatory training on related Bank’s and BSA compliance as well as other laws and regulations as assigned and in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources or related fields is preferred
3+ years working experience, experience in payroll & benefits administration
Expertise with ADP Workforce NOW is a plus
Working knowledge of Federal, State, and City payroll and benefits compliance
Strong organization skills and high level attention to detail
Good computer skills in MS-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Good written, communication, and inter-personal skills
Experience documenting processes and internal controls
Ability to work independently
Customer service orientation and willing to go the extra mile to support internal and/or external customer needs
