    <p><strong></strong></p><p><strong>Senior Accountant / Senior Accounting Analyst </strong></p><p><em><strong>This is an On-Site role with flexibility to work from home </strong><strong>occasionally</strong><strong> and not Remote or structured Hybrid, please make sure that commute is doable for you before applying. </strong></em></p><p><em><strong>Company is growing and profitable </strong></em></p><p><em><strong>*Great growth potential and collaborative team environment </strong></em></p><p><strong>Summary:</strong><br />Reporting to the Financial Reporting/Accounting Manager, the Sr. Accountant / Analyst is responsible for various aspects of the accounting function, including preparing journal entries, preparing and maintaining financial records, account reconciliation and in depth analysis, financial statements, and responding to business ad hoc requests. Will also assist FP&A Manager with budgeting & forecasting, KPIs, Sales and Trends Analysis. </p><p><strong>Scope of Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare journal entries by providing and maintaining detailed records and files.</li><li>Perform monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts.</li><li>Track and allocate costs associated with different departments and cost centers.</li><li>Participate in the month end closing process.</li><li>Prepare monthly financial statement.</li><li>Participate in annual budget including actual vs budget analysis.</li><li>Prepare and support year end audit; prepare year end schedules and other audit schedules.</li><li>Assist with the grower pool and lot settlements.</li><li>Handle weekly and end of season analysis and reporting.</li><li>Coordinate annual external audit</li><li>Special projects, ad-hoc reports upon management request.</li><li>Miscellaneous administrative support.</li><li>Perform other related duties, as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills/Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field; CPA and/or Master's a plus but not necessary.</li><li>5+ years of relevant accounting experience preferably in these industries: manufacturing, distribution, 3PL, agriculture, food processing, etc. </li><li>Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.</li><li>Previous experience with major accounting software (Tier 1 or 2 like JD Edwards, MAS 500, etc.)</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel (pivot table, v/h lookup).</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail with high level of accuracy.</li><li>Good organization, analytic and problem solving skills.</li><li>Ability to grasp concepts easily and advancement potential into leadership role(s).</li></ul>
