    Human Resources Manager/ Senior Manager / Director DOE

    [HRBP, Talent Acquisitions | Recruitment, Employee Relations]

    Our client is a large Consumer Products | Retail| eCommerce Company with locations throughout the United States. They are growing and seeking an experienced and energetic Bilingual Chinese Mandarin HR Manager/Director to their Human Resources leadership team. This position is responsible for Talent Acquisition and Employee Relations in a multistate environment.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Responsible to build, manage, lead and develop a cohesive, well-functioning Recruitment team, and in partnership with senior leadership, plan and execute recruiting strategies that ensure the team is meeting its primary hiring objectives.
    • Drive recruitment team’s performance against our hiring plans in a fast-paced environment, and oversee the daily workflow of the team; Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
    • Reinforce and implement recruiting SOP to ensure proper controls are in place
    • Develop team performance goals/metrics and timelines by leveraging readily available tools to measure and manage progress.
    • Develop recruitment strategy, including job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning, talent planning, etc.
    • Execute critical talent initiatives supporting the entire recruitment life cycle in direct partnership with business stakeholders
    • Build sourcing capability & capacity across a geographically dispersed team to proactively build diverse candidate pools while leveraging all available talent channels to accelerate hiring.
    • Lead and/or participate in cross-business/cross-company special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition and hiring.
    • Design, plan and execute employer branding activities and employee referral programs
    • Perform analysis of hiring needs and provide employee hiring forecast; Support in workforce planning
    • Implement and manage Applicant Tracking System
    • Source, interview and hire leadership positions
    • Develop relationships with third party recruitment agencies and staffing firms and manage the procurement and measurement process
    • Oversee the facilitation of new hire onboarding program
    • Manage the employment cycle for the assigned client group; Act as an advisor and internal contact to employees and managers on a broad range of human resource issues
    • Manages employee relations including investigation and counseling
    • Manage leave of absence, such as FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and conduct work related injury investigations
    • Develop and manage the Exit program and turnover analysis

    Must have Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Human Resource Management or related field
    • 5+ years of full-time recruiting and/or employee relations (i.e. investigation and counseling) experience required with at least 2 years of people management experience
    • Bilingual in English/Chinese (Mandarin) is a must
    • Preferred retail, food stores and food production recruiting and employee relations experience
    • Proven results driving social media campaigns around talent brand (ex: LinkedIn, Indeed)
    • Experience with matrix organization and multi-state organization is preferred
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
    • Willing to accommodate flexible work schedules and travel to conferences and recruitment events
    • Business acumen and desire to build relationships as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders
    • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and California labor laws and regulations
    • Expert knowledge in FMLA, CFRA, PDL
    • Experience in work injury investigation and employee counseling and investigation is required

    Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

    • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity as part of a fast-growing company, and adapt to rapidly changing environments and business conditions while delivering results
    • Trilingual in English/Chinese (Mandarin)/Spanish is preferred
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment

    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

    • Proficient with Google, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint, etc.) or related software
    • Experience working with recruiting tools and systems, including ATS', sourcing tools and complex spreadsheets
    • Ability to initiate and manage human resource policies, procedures and programs in compliance with company standards and industry best practices, ensuring consistent execution and compliance with federal and state labor laws nationwide.
    • Ability to pro-actively plan, schedule and execute multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret policies, procedures and other business practices, guidelines and documents
    • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community
    • Ability to maintain confidential information and to work with minimum supervision
