Corporate Recruiter [ open to a hybrid schedule]
Position Summary
The Corporate Recruiter will report into the HR Business Partner and will be responsible for finding, recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, and retaining talented candidates. This person will assist the HR Business Partner with maintaining communications both internally and externally with hiring managers and agencies.
Essential Tasks, Duties, & Responsibilities
- Work with the HR Business Partner to investigate and determine employee hiring needs by collaborating with managers and Senior/Executive leadership
- Assist with job description creation and maintenance by collaborating with hiring managers to obtain updated information about tasks
- Assist with job postings in ATS and any needed 3rd-party sites
- Source and find qualified candidates for open positions
- Help maintain accurate and thorough candidate records in ATS and HRIS
- Schedule and conduct phone screens to prepare summary of qualifications for the hiring managers
- Persistently and consistently maintain communications with external agencies regarding candidates, schedules, and statuses
- In real-time, track all candidates and their statuses using ATS and any additional trackers such as Excel sheets off or on SharePoint site
- Assist with any recruiting-related KPI/metrics reporting including any ad-hoc reports
- Review employment applications and background check reports
- Encourage employees to be brand ambassadors
- Use ATS reporting and trackers to help find bottlenecks in the recruiting process and make suggestions to improve the processes
- Plan procedures for improving the ideal candidate experience
- Suggest measures for improving employee retention
- Use sourcing methods for hard-to-fill roles
- Attend career and college fairs, and similar events
- Assisting company’s event and HR projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as needed and directed by management
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
- A minimum of 1-2 years of related Recruiting/HR experience
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- General knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations
- Exceptional project and time management skills
- Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
- Foundational skills in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel are required
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Ability to take initiative, be self-directed, and have a creative flair is highly desire
- Ability to exhibit extraordinary discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with employees at all levels
