Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager

*Title flexible depending on experience and qualifications

*CPA or on track to CPA required

Our client is a stable family oriented privately held company well rooted in the San Gabriel Valley that puts people first: Employees, Family, Customers, Vendors etc. They are seeking an Intelligent and Growth Oriented CPA to as their Sr. Accountant or Accounting Manager. Reporting to former Big 4 CPA, he/she will perform the following responsibilities:

• Oversea accounting, AP, AR
• Month-end close tasks (G/L, J/E, F/S, Consolidations)
• Balance Sheet and Account reconciliations
• Daily cash oversight and review AR aging
• Misc system variances and clearing activities
• Special ad-hoc accounting projects

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field
• CPA or on track to CPA required
• 2+ years of public accounting experience highly desired, public/private mix a plus
• Industries verticals dealing with inventory preferred
• Strong ERP Systems (assistance with implementations helpful), Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot table, vlookup, etc.)
• Strong analytical, independent thinker and process improvement oriented
• Ability to learn business, adapt quickly and grow with company/role
