    Our client is a division of a Global Publicly Traded Green Manufacturing company catering to the Hybrid, EV Automotive industry located in the Inland Empire/Ontario, CA area. They have been awarded 2 Major Contracts and seeking an experienced Manager, Manufacturing Engineering to join their team. 

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency
    • Ability to visualize a process or system from concept to development
    • Work with team to specify, source, install, and validate equipment for production use
    • Development of specifications for preventative and detection methods
    • Ensure the manufacturing engineering team and other departments work together cohesively.
    • Manage group staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs
    • Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met while meeting approved budgets
    • Help lead cross functional team to develop and maintain process related documentation (DFMEA,PFMEA, Control Plan, Work Instructions, etc.).
    • Development of specifications for preventative and detection methods.
    • Performs other duties as assigned by Management.

    QUALIFICATION

    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a production environment
    • Experience in the design, optimization & integration of machine vision systems, conveyors & reliable production automation systems.
    • Experience in pneumatics, vacuum, servo, powertrain controls.
    • Knowledge of GD&T, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and electro-mechanical systems.
    • Knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, Process Flow, Control Plan and ISO/IATF
    • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Solidworks 2017+) a plus
    • Strong hands on electrical/mechanical aptitude
    • Ability to use power tools and measuring tools.
