    JOB TITLE:  JOURNEYMAN LINEMAN (8C)

    Location: Sanibel, FL

    Work hours: Non-Summer Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm / Summer Thursday-Monday 9:00am - 5:30pm 

    • HOURLY WAGES OF UP TO $44.69+ UP TO $9/HR SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL
    • $15,000 SIGN-ON BONUS
    • RELOCATION BONUS OF UP TO $16,000

    JOURNEYMAN LINEMAN POSITION SUMMARY: Perform construction and maintenance duties of overhead and underground facilities for electrical distribution and transmission.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Construction/maintenance of transmission/distribution facilities in cost effective manner
    • Ensure facilities remain reliable and efficient
    • Assist in emergency repair and power restoration after outages
    • Respond reliably and timely to calls during regular work hours and off regular work hours
    • Account for all construction materials (issues, returns, salvage, etc.) properly
    • Perform duties safely and in accordance with LCEC accident prevention rules
    • Comply with applicable codes and standards
    • Must live within 45 minute commute from regular work site
    • Maintain effective working relationships with employees/customers at all levels within LCEC.
    • Ensure smooth operations, productive communications, and effective understanding during all interpersonal contacts. Provide current and accurate information to all requesters, courteously and in a timely manner.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Proof of completion of a certified line worker apprentice program and/or four (4) years of experience working as a journeyman line worker
    • Commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A
    • Able to meet physical demands of duties

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    •  Familiarity with personal computer and Email.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position requires typical physical demands found in the construction industry, which includes but is not limited to heavy lifting, working on ladders, vehicle/equipment operation, electrical hand tool operation, digging, outside and inside work. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. occasionally; climb in/out of a bucket truck; squeeze tools to 80lbs of force; climb poles; drive large vehicles & heavy equipment; work from the basket of a bucket truck while wearing PPE; work at night and for extended hours.  

    WORK ENVIRONMENT: Mostly outside in inclement weather (extreme heat, thunder storms, & occasional cool temperatures).

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in health care related field; advanced degree preferred (MPH, PharmD)
    • Minimum 1 year experience with medical and pharmacy claims data
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience working with healthcare data
    • Must have experience generating queries/reports independently, integrating data between a wide range pf sources, SQL experience a must
    • Working knowledge of HIPAA requirements, NCQA®, HEDIS®, PQA, PQRS, CMS Stars and state/federal requirements for managed care is strongly preferred
    • Firm understanding of healthcare coding standards/systems (e.g. Claims, NDC, ICD 9, ICD 10, LOINC, Medications, UCUM, UMLS, SNOMED CT, etc.) with practical knowledge of clinical terminologies to create and ensure data quality standards are upheld.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
    • Clinical problem solving and decision making abilities, strong therapeutic knowledge
    • Deadline driven, results-oriented, accurate, and analytical
    • Ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain high quality work output in a fast- paced dynamic environment while working on multiple projects
    • Understanding of utilization management (UM) and prior authorization (PA) in the Medicare/Medicaid and Commercial

     

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    • Experience in Healthcare, health insurance, and Specialty Pharmacy is a must have
    • Knowledge of data integration, software enhancements/planning, and agile methodologies
    • Dashboard experience
