We're a well-funded, 500 person successful SaaS company that is located in the San Francisco Bay Area. We're gearing up for a big modernization initiative, moving from traditional data center to modern public Azure cloud. This position can be fully remote and located anywhere throughout the United States.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You’ll be the foremost Cloud and DevOps expert who’ll be tasked with moving our suite of SaaS applications from a traditional data center environment to a modern, MSFT Azure-based, public cloud environment. You’ll help lay the architecture for our next-gen cloud, including the tooling and infrastructure. In addition, you’ll also be responsible for interfacing with the engineering team in order to make the necessary changes to the software platform for optimal performance in a modern public cloud environment. The team is looking to add a member who is an expert in CI/CD, has exceptional communication skills, strong cloud skills, and is a thought leader in addressing the needs of cloud-first DevOps organizations.

EXPERIENCE

• Provide DevOps Tools and CI/CD expertise to software development teams across • Help build reusable standard CI/CD pipeline model with built-in quality gates, security and cutting edge tools and automation • Drive process automation focused on eliminating manual steps in application build and deployment, integrating compliance and quality gates in the process. • Lead discussion and provide guidance to technical teams regarding operational, technical, and procedural best practices. • Be an evangelist of fully automated product build and released process driving “push the button” to deploy attitude and vision. • Be the right-hand man/woman who is the technical expert companywide for MSFT Azure Public Cloud environments. • Build, release, and configuration management of production systems. • System troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains. • Remain abreast of technology advancements for future cloud, software, and other relative implementations and capabilities • Ensuring critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps related role. • Strong experience moving from traditional Data Centers to public cloud, specifically Microsoft Azure. • Experience with Multi-Cloud Computing (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) • Solid understanding of server automation systems (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform) • Scripting using any language (GO, NodeJs, Bash, Python, etc.) • Hands-on experience with Datadog, stack driver, Cloudwatch, Splunk, elk or other log processing & alerting systems • Cloud-based networking experience (HaProxy, WAF, ELB, ALB, distributed multi-cloud VPC).
