Description:

Labeling Coordinator  Minimum 4-yr college degree in the sciences required. This person will be trained by Product Compliance staff and will be required to review/create/update chemical, glass and fiber glass labeling for global Hazard Communication and Transportation compliance. Ability to learn quickly is required. They will manage confidential business information / labeling databases and respond to customer requests (internal and external). Requires detail oriented, effective communication, problem solving, organizational and planning skills. Requires teamwork, ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to effectively interact with a diverse client base, including associates at  all levels as well as with suppliers and customers. An understanding of chemical nomenclature is helpful. Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) documents would be helpful but not required. Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Word are expected. Basic skills with the remainder of Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook are expected. Training in the SDS Authoring software and other software applications specific to the position will be provided.
