DESCRIPTION:
PMO (Program Management Office) works closely with Move’s Engineering and Product Management in setting company wide priorities and executing technology programs spanning multiple groups. We are responsible for brokering agreements between different stakeholder groups, resolving conflicts and managing change in business priorities.
We are responsible for continuously improving process, tools and best practices and defining business specific roadmaps that align with the company’s goals and strategy.
As a member of this team, you will own the planning, execution and success of one or more Product roadmaps
Manager is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Staff Technical Program Manager (TPM) to work on the Leads & Monetization team. In this highly visible role; you will work closely with our Leads and Monetization (L&M) Platform teams in delivering critical, revenue impacting and high traffic services built on AWS. The L&M teams are transforming how consumers connect with real estate professionals and plays a critical role in disrupting the real estate industry by leveraging big data, Data Science and Analytics as the backbone.
You will work in tandem with all stakeholders (including but not limited to Engineering, Product Management, User Experience etc.) in setting company wide priorities and driving the execution of company’s strategic programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO)...
o Leading and managing the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific “Programs”.
o Working with Product and Engineering stakeholders in developing quarterly roadmaps that capture cross functional dependencies and resource capacity.
o Working with Product, Engineering, UX Design, Architecture and other stakeholders to identify & manage program/project dependencies & coming up with an execution plan.
o Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the systems architecture that impacts assigned projects. Brings excellent insight into new projects around dependencies / potential issues, influences the design of projects, and rapidly identifies and resolves technical dependencies and risks.
o Brokering & managing agreements between stakeholder groups. Facilitating negotiations, brokering of new agreements when such agreements change.
o Constantly monitoring and reporting on the progress of Programs to all stakeholders
o Identifying process gaps & inefficiencies. Evangelizing & implementing process & tool improvements to make processes repeatable & predictable.
o Where business unit funding is needed, manages the process of scoping and budgeting.
REQUIREMENTS:
o Bachelor degree (Masters preferred) in computer science, math, engineering or related fields
o Expert level in the Agile Methodology using Scrum as well as waterfall
o 10+ years of overall software industry experience
o 5+ years of experience in Technical Program/Project management in complex cross-functional environment.
o 1 year of experience developing software as a developer/ quality assurance engineer/ application support engineer
o Expert knowledge of Atlassian Jira, CA Agile Central (Formerly Rally), Version One or similar tools is highly desirable.
o Project Management Certification (PMI-PMP) or equivalent experience preferred
o Agile Certification (PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM) or equivalent experience preferred
o Effective in high-pressure and/or ambiguous situations; anticipates and adjusts long-range plans to meet changing complex and interdependent needs; able to take on and lead multiple assignments.
