    Job Description

    Opportunity

    As a Technology Liaison, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the technical aspects of our organization and its various stakeholders, both internal and external. You will serve as a communicator, collaborator, and problem solver, ensuring that technology-related initiatives align with the company's strategic goals. Your responsibilities will include facilitating communication between technical teams, non-technical departments, and the Client while managing technology projects, and assisting with the adoption of new technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of technology and the ability to translate technical concepts into easily digestible information.

    ► Key Areas of Responsibility

    • Communication Facilitation:
      • Act as a communication bridge between technical teams, non-technical departments and the Client.
      • Translate technical jargon into layman's terms to facilitate understanding.
      • Ensure that stakeholders are informed about technology-related developments and projects.
    • Project Management:
      • Oversee the planning and execution of technology projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress.
    • Stakeholder Engagement:
      • Identify stakeholders' needs, expectations, and concerns related to technology.
      • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve technology-related challenges and roadblocks, and propose effective solutions.
      • Gather feedback from various departments and provide it to technical teams for consideration.
      • Promote technology adoption by showcasing its benefits to stakeholders.
    • Technical Expertise:
      • Stay up-to-date with emerging technology trends and innovations, and provide insights to help guide strategic decision-making within the organization.
      • Maintain thorough and organized records of technology-related information, including project documentation, user guides, and best practices.
      • Evaluate potential technology solutions and provide recommendations to management.
      • Assist in the development of technology strategies and roadmaps.
    • Training and Development:
      • Organize training sessions and workshops to enhance the technology proficiency of technical employees.
      • Develop and maintain training materials and resources.
    • Ensures compliance with internal policies, procedures and internal controls in accordance with the Sarbanes- Oxley Act 2002 Section 404.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ► Key Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration) is required. Master's degree is a plus.
    • At least 10+ years of experience in technology management, project management, or a related role, preferably in a senior or leadership capacity.
    • Strong understanding of technology trends, software development processes, and infrastructure.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
    • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and build teams to solve business problems.

    Additional Information

    The salary range for this position is $106,050 - $155,540/ year.
    The hiring [base salary / wage rate] range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Actual salaries will vary within the range, and in some circumstances may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant skills, experience, education and training, and location, as well as the job scope and complexity, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel required for the position, which may change depending on the candidate pool.
