    VetEvolve is seeking an experienced Veterinary Regional Manager of Operations to support our late 2024 growth. We are seeking the right fit for our organization, so are casting a wide net. Candidates based in many areas of Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina will be considered. VetEvolve has a fast-paced, challenging and supportive work environment.     Job Description Overview

    The Veterinary Regional Manager of Operations develops leadership and management skills in hospital leaders, drives enhancements in patient care & client service and maximizes operational efficiencies within a network of 7-10 practices with an average total annual revenue of $15-25 mm.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Leadership Development, Human Resources

      • Identifies and grows strong medical and operational leaders and fosters collaboration across hospitals.

      • Ensures practice leaders are effectively and consistently supporting their team members. Identifies and executes plans to improve recruitment and retention across all departments.

      • Leads and/or facilitates compensation, conflict resolution and other HR-related discussions.

      • Builds strong, collaborative relationships with Associate Veterinarians and support staff department leads.

    • Practice Growth and Facility Management

      • Leads organic growth initiatives within region. Takes proactive approach to identifying and presenting new organic growth opportunities.

      • Monitors and actively improves hospitals’ financial performance through utilization of provided resources and aligning local teams on common goals.

      • Ensures hospitals properly manage their online reputation.

      • Identifies opportunities for facility improvements that will drive long-term growth and sustainability. Partners with Facilities Manager and Director of Operations to research and execute options.

      • Ensures facilities are compliant with state and local laws and regulations and that facility appearance and upkeep is properly managed.

    Requirements (Experience)

    • Minimum of 2 years veterinary Multi-Unit Management experience, defined as operating a minimum of 4 veterinary hospitals with a total minimum of 8mm annual revenue AND

    • Minimum of 5 years in leadership roles in veterinary industry

    OR

    • Minimum of 5 years Multi-Unit Management in a healthcare setting AND

    • Minimum of 2 years veterinary experience in any role that provides awareness of the unique aspects of management within the veterinary industry

    • Ability to grow into managing 7-10 locations with 15-25mm total annual revenue

    • Ability to plan and execute management and organic growth plans tailored to each individual practice in partnership with local leadership

    Requirements (Travel)

    • Ability to travel within region up to 75%

    Compensation Range (experienced Regional Managers supporting 7-10 hospitals with up to 25mm in total annual revenue)

    • $100,000 – 125,000 + annual performance-based bonus
